How is DWG converted to DXF in the browser?

Your DWG is translated to DXF locally using WebAssembly (cadview/dwg with a LibreDWG fallback). Nothing is uploaded.

Which DWG versions are supported?

Support depends on the embedded DWG reader. Newer or complex drawings may need to be re-saved from AutoCAD if conversion fails.

Will blocks, text, and dimensions be preserved?

Simple geometry usually converts well. Complex blocks, annotations, and xrefs may be simplified or omitted.

Can I preview the result on a map?

Yes. After conversion we derive a GeoJSON preview from the DXF for the built-in map view. Download the DXF for CAD use.
